Mr. Nasim Mahmmud is a distinguished geopolitical analyst, columnist, and social worker with a significant impact on international relations and civil society. As one of the founding members and the current Executive Director of the Center for Saudi Arabia Studies (CSAS) in Bangladesh, he leads initiatives that operate extensively in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Mr. Nasim’s career in public service spans over twelve years within the Bangladesh Civil Service, where he held various positions under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of Bangladesh before opting for voluntary retirement. His expertise is further demonstrated through his CEO and Executive Director role at the Centre for East Asia Foundation (CEAF). This organization is dedicated to researching and analyzing geopolitical developments, and economic opportunities, and promoting cooperation among East and Southeast Asian countries in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to his leadership roles, Mr. Nasim is the Chief Editor of two quarterly magazines, "Rising Asia" and "The Belt and Road," published in Bangladesh. Mr. Nasim's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a reputable private university in Bangladesh, and a Master in Educational Management from the University of the Philippines.
